The University of Arizona Outreach, Distance, and Continuing Education (ODCE) division is committed to providing valuable educational opportunities for students before they embark on their college journeys. Our precollege programs are designed to engage, challenge, and inspire young learners, helping them get a head start on their higher education path.
Community Campus
The Community Campus initiative offers a variety of credit-bearing programs tailored to high school students and community members. Through partnerships with local institutions, ODCE provides:
- High School Dual Enrollment: This program allows high school students to earn college credits while completing their high school education. Dual enrollment gives students a head start on their college coursework, providing a seamless transition to higher education.
- Bridge Programs: These programs are specifically designed to ease the transition from high school to college. They help students acclimate to university-level coursework and expectations, ensuring they are well-prepared for the academic challenges ahead.

Summer Cats – Coming Summer 2026
Launching in Summer 2026, Summer Cats will provide rising high school sophomores and juniors opportunities to explore the college experience, academic fields, and earn college credit on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson.
