Learner Profile

  • ODCE currently supports over 4,500 learners.
  • Over 1,400 ODCE learners are ages 50 and up.
  • We proudly support our military and military-connected learners and are members of Air Force COOL, Army CA and MyCAA programs.

  • Over 40 certificate programs are available.
  • Over 45 undergraduate and graduate programs are available to choose from.
  • Unique learning offerings range from “Beekeeping for Beginning and Small-Scale Farmers” to “Spacesuit Training” and more.

Outreach & Community Engagement

  • Outreach programs include dual-enrollment opportunities for high school students and free or discounted workshops for community members.
  • ODCE can arrange to send expert instructors to corporate or government locations to provide custom training.

  • Courses are offered in various formats — hybrid and digitally.
  • Our distance education locations include Yuma, Gilbert, Chandler, Douglas and Nogales.
